The New York Times magazine has a long profile of Bill Clinton in his post-presidential years, including this exchange regarding George W. Bush and Ken Starr:
“You know, I’m a Baptist,” Clinton explained. “We don’t give up on anybody. We believe in deathbed conversions.”
How about Ken Starr? “Well,” he said, then paused. “That’s another kettle of fish.”

Kind of sad. If Obama has two terms and is even halfway successful, the Big Dog's eclipse will be more or less complete and he'll wind up a footnote to the Age of Obama. (I'm not saying I will think that way, mind. But I imagine many will.)

Starr was on the Board of Directors of a university where my college roommate was VP. He said he was a sleazeball.
