I never thought I'd live in an era when the fringe thinkers like Bill Kristol actually get prime space and time on the American mainstage. If they continue the trend, I expect to see more credibility and opportunity given to folks like Kristol, who are smart enough to reason that they can't officially be associated with groups like the John Birch Society, despite strongly identifing with the Birch platform.

They called Kristol "Quayle's brain," but that is an undeserved insult to Quayle--and, believe me, there are very few undeserved insults to Quayle.
