Ever-earnest Mitt Romney says some of the stupidest things

"We need change all right -- change from a liberal Washington to a conservative Washington!"

This neatly overlooks the fact that the most conservative faction of the our most conservative major party has been running all three branches of government for at least six out of the eight years our conservative president has been in office.  In fact, if you wanted to plumb a little history, the conservatives have been running things in this country ever since FDR's second term.
