I'm guessing that Secretary of State thing doesn't happen

It's fine with me whichever way it goes.  You could make arguments both ways. 

My guess is, though, that if it hasn't been done for sure by a week from now, it won't happen.  If the deal isn't done pretty soon, the enemies of the Clintons within the Obama camp will find a way to scuttle it.
