Yeah, well, somehow I'm not entirely surprised... but technically he was already President at that point! It's apparently in the Constitution that at 12PM EST the President-elect becomes the President, so he'd been President for like...45 minutes or something by then.

Roberts messed up more royally, but Obama also jumped the gun a bit, so perhaps it was the Administration's first Great Bipartisanship Moment.
I understand Roberts' nerves, but it's a very brief oath. Sheesh.
