Here's something I found out while on my way to look up something else. SquareState had a photo gallery of delegates to the DNC this past summer. Here's my pic, which, if I remember correctly, was taken just before the Clintonites walked out of our first all-delegate meeting. We were ticked about something or other.
Where SquareState gets it wrong is that they identified me as "our sole Native American delegate." As it turns out, as near as I can determine, I actually am about 15% Cherokee, which, as I understand it, would qualify a person for membership in the tribe if that person can prove a Cherokee ancestor in the year 1900, which, for several reasons, I can't. In any case, I was not a "Native American delegate," but certainly would have been proud to have carried the Native American banner at the convention.
