Have the British been shrinking?

Otherwise, why are Michelle and Barack Obama so much taller than the Queen and Prince Philip?

This looks like a Photoshop production. Besides the height, there's the weird way that Michelle is in front of Prince Philip and Barack in front of the queen. I wonder why someone would create a picture though, since there must be some actual ones.
But wait, can you actually take press photos in Buckingham Palace?

I'm sure they allow at least one photo of the occasion to be released to the press. Drudge has the same photo with the Duke of Edinburgh cropped, so I don’t think it’s Photoshopped. The Queen is a short woman, about Hillary’s size, and I’m sure she’s even smaller with age. I’m not sure about Philip but I think he’s taller than Charles but shorter than William.

Most people look short next to Obama and his giantess, though.

I took it straight from HuffPost, which I don't know if you can even do, but I didn't figure they'd get upset about it. It might have been photo-shopped, I suppose, but it looks more like a camera angle thing, especially between Michelle and P. Philip.

I saw footage of this on MSNBC last night, so it isn't Photoshopped, but it looked as though they had a little trouble at first deciding who should stand where, and for a moment there Michelle was literally standing in front of Prince Philip.

Also, they are verrrry tall people.
