The five Roman Catholic male judges on the Court ruled against precedent in 2007 by upholding the "partial birth" abortion ban. Maybe we could use a few good WASPs like Stevens back on the Court.

How about a libertarian atheist scientist. There,that even strikes more of a balance. Smile.

I don't read anything in the constitution about balancing out at the expense of excellence.
