Also, comes this: According to a study by Allstate insurance, girls tend to speed more than boys. 48% of young women say they regularly drive 10 mph over the speed limit, versus 36% of young men. Over half the women say they drive while texting or talking on the phone while about a third of young men do.
Are women drivers more aggressive? No, says Adrian Mic, owner of Adrian's Driving School in Tarrytown, NY:
"Trust me, boys are lying. Women in general are more likely to follow the rules, in my experience," he says. But girls "don't pay attention to the speed limit. They just drive the way they feel. It doesn't mean they are aggressive."
Drive the way they feel? This is supposed to be re-assuring?
