Europe's most liberal countries are also its happiest

What are the four happiest countries in the world?  Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden--in that order, according to Forbes magazine. 

One might also note:  Gay marriage is the law of the land in Sweden and Norway.  Denmark and Finland have civil unions.
