Cain has gone 21 1/3 post-season innings without giving up a run.
The record for most consecutive scoreless innings in World Series play is 33 2/3, held by Whitey Ford of the New York Yankees.
Previously, the record had been held by a little-known Boston Red Sox pitcher by the name of Babe Ruth who had 29 2/3 scoreless innings in 1916 and 1918.
Great performance. Bochy has been taking good care of Cain, making sure he’s pitching at home whenever possible.

I'm no genius on the subject, but it appears to me that Bochy is doing a good job managing--not that every move pays off, but they've all made sense.
