That's the crowd-size estimate for yesterday's Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear, sponsored by Jon Steward and Steve Colbert--or, one should say, the crowd-size estimate if Tea Party backers were making the estimate.
Observers may remember the Tea Party rally last summer, whose promoters estimated the crowd at several hundred thousand, perhaps even a million, but which was really about 87,000--not a bad figure for a rally, but quite a bit less than non-partisan estimates.
The general consensus among the press and other observers is that the Stewart/Colbert rally drew around 200-250,000.
