It appears that the State of Wisconsin will be having at least nine state senate recall elections--six Republicans and three Democrats. The GOP currently holds a 19-14 majority. Shifting three seats moves the chamber to the Democrats.
If that should happen, and it may, Gov. Walker's campaign for Vice President, further exemplified by his recent gay-bashing, would not be helped.
In other Wisconsin news, Cong. Paul Ryan, author of the GOP plan to dismantle Medicare announced that he will not run for the Senate seats held by retiring Sen. Herb Kohl. He says he's not running because he's more influential where he is. The real reason is because he knows he'd get beat.
