I agree about Hitchens but I don't understand why any atheist or agnostic should have to pay any attention to theology. Theology is for believers and those interested in philosophy.

Hitchens was nuts on the subject of Clinton. He used to go on and on about the admittedly tragic case of Ricky Ray Rector, while ignoring Bush's record of death in Texas, because he approved of Bush.

If he's going to write a book about how wrong Christian theology is, he ought, at the least, to take that theology seriously enough to engage it.
