More liberal on gay rights, more conservative on guns

This Pew Research poll finds no real change over the past decade in terms of support for abortion rights.  This remains steady at, roughly, 53% to 40% in favor.

The big changes were on civil unions and gay marriage, and on guns.  Public attitudes on gay rights have changed dramatically over the past twenty years.  Less noticed is that public attitudes have also shifted in support of guns, including a sharp rise among blacks and hispanics.
