Predictably, Christianity Today magazine has weighed in on the side of beleaguered senatorial candidate, Richard Mourdock.
Mark Galli says that "for Christians (sic), while rape is a terrible thing, in the providence of God, this too can be redeemed, a tragic event from which love can emerge."
Anything is possible with God, in other words. Sure, when you put it that way.
How about putting it this way? How Christian is it for rape victims to be forced to become compulsory incubators for the children of their rapists?
