It's an old 1984 Renault with 190,000 miles, given to the Pope by Fr. Renzo Rocca, a priest who worked in a heavily working-class neighborhood in Verona, Italy. He thought the Pope might appreciate a car that had a grassroots track record.
Pope Francis chose a five year old Ford Fusion for his official car, rather a come down from Benedict's BMW X5. He suggested that priests drive "humble cars."
